Midlands Parks Forum
The Voice of Parks in the Midlands
Welcome
The Midlands Parks Forum is a charitable organisation acting as an umbrella for our supporters. These include green space professionals from a wide range of sectors including local authority, voluntary and community sector from across the East and West Midlands, as well as national agencies. In the coming years we will grow to truly become the voice of parks in the Midlands.
We are passionate about improving our environment and finding ways to optimise community health and well being. Also, we’re committed to exploring the role that open spaces can play in tackling climate change.
We organise conferences, workshops and educational forums, utilising speakers who focus on all aspects of green space management and development. Additionally, we support case studies and facilitate visits to high quality, award winning green spaces to learn about and share good practice.
Explore this site and you’ll find a calendar to point you towards important external events. You can read more about our work and meet our trustees on our About us page.
For information on how to become either a partnership supporter or a commercial supporter, and to learn about additional sponsorship opportunities, see our Join us page.
We will provide a valuable resources library full of best-practice guides, official studies and useful think pieces on parks in the UK and abroad.
For now though, please check out our extensive COVID-19 guidance, to help you apply policy and advice on how to run and manage parks and public spaces during the Coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, help us shape and inform policy at a national level by completing our COVID-19 survey.
