The forum attended Saltwells National Nature Reserve and Stevens Park, Quarry Bank, to learn about two contrasting green heritage green spaces.

Saltwells NNR has ancient woodland, is a national attraction for native bluebells and is part of the UNESCO Black Country Geopark.

Stevens Park, Quarry Bank has received National Lottery Heritage Funding for a restoration.
