Events and workshops
Promoting best practice
Our forum delivers regular learning opportunities through events, workshops, conferences, and through visits to outstanding green spaces. We are continually planning future events and workshops with partners and collaborators.
All events are focused on the skills and competencies identified as essential for the green space sector, and are themed around Midlands Parks Forum’s Skills and Competencies Framework.
Our learning framework has six key skills areas – as detailed above. Within those skills are 60 sub-groups – from Partnerships to Protected Landscapes, from Leisure Strategies to Landscapes, from Access to Allotments, from Play to Project Management, from Horticulture to Habitat Management.
